What better way to be introduced into a full days shoot, than by being taught the etiquette and safety off shooting by practicing on clays, followed by an afternoon in the field. It is the ultimate Young Shot’s experience for

12 - 17 year olds and will make the perfect gift, or even an amazing way to finish
the school holidays

9.00am  Arrival for breakfast

9.30am The Young Shots will be divided into two groups. Each group will rotate through lessons on ‘How to Shoot’, ‘Safety & Etiquette’ and ‘Shotguns & Clothing’

12.45pm Break for two course lunch in our Lodge

2.00pm All groups are taken out to Carington Shooting Estate, 20 miles from the School, to a line of pegs for a 75 bird day, two partridge drives with instructors in the field, putting into practice all the skills learnt in the morning sessions.

4.00pm After learning to shoot on clays in the morning they will then shoot real game in the afternoon. The day will be rounded off with a demonstration on how to dress a partridge and the opportunity for the Young Shots to take home a brace of partridge in feather.

5pm After shooting, Afternoon Tea will be served in the shoot lodge to complete the day

6.30pm Arrive back at West London Shooting School for departure home
