Ashcombe - With terrain rising to over 1,000 ft above sea level at Wyn Green this stunning and very private estate is home to a game shoot of unrivalled quality and reputation. Chavenage - Cromwell stayed here, though what or who he shot is not recorded. A beautiful Elizabethan Manor house is our base for the day, just west of Tetbury. The Ledgemore Bottom valley provides some very challenging drives from Cotswold banks and a testing woodland gulley that was recently compared to a Devon valley drive. Great Tew - Historic estate of Viscount Falkland (after whom the islands were named) and the Bolton family. On the edge of the Cotswolds near Chipping Norton its got great shooting terrain, fabulous views and the most southerly full line of 'grouse butts' - if you've got that invite now might be the time to take a day here!
