Our Macnab day pays homage to John Buchan's thrilling story published in 1925. To complete a MacNab requires both skill and luck. In the book, three prominent Scottish landowners received a challenging note telling them that 'John MacNab' intends to poach from their estates without being caught.
The 'MacNab' involves shooting of both a shotgun and a rifle and casting a fly rod. The day will see you shoot some exciting clays in our grouse butts, learning the composure and skill required to shoot a .270 rifle as well as being taught the delicate art of fly-fishing.
